SUN - SAND - SEA - lots to do in the Sun Sand or Sea

Safe swimming in the Tenerife Holiday Apartment complex pools or from the clean & safe beaches of the town.

 

WALKING A tiled promenade stretches several kilometres from Los Cristianos to la Calleta, it is an easy level walk with just a few slopes and is very wheelchair friendly.

 

EXPLORE - Take a bus from the local bus station or hire a car & go up into the winding roads up around the hills of Tenerife.

 

HIKE - into the real Canarian landscape.

 

ADVENTURE - up into the National park of Las Canadas or the rain forests of Anaga.

 

BEACH ACTIVITIES - Los Cristianos has large sandy beaches which are ideal for sunbathing. There are areas specifically designed for beach activities, volley ball trampolining etc. The usual facilities exist, including sunbed hire, jetski hire and banana boat rides.

 

WINING AND DINING - Take a trip to one of Tenerifes' many vineyards for tastings and buy some Canarian wine in the local supermarkets. The banana planatations are well worth a visit, where they even make banana liqueur. There are many restaurants within Los Cristianos which cater supplying all cuisines for all tastes. Both Los Cristianos and nearby Playa de las Americas have many venues for shows, music, entertainment and casinos.

 

 

When in Spain it is alway fiesta time, in Los Cristianos Mardi Gras is in February, with many others held around the island in Santa Cruz, Candelaria and Adeje.

 

Loro Parque in the North of the island is a world famous zoo/parrot conservation park with dolphin and whale shows.

 

Parque Las Aguilas in the South of the island has a variety of animals but specialises in raptors (birds of prey) and gives flying displays. Several go-kart tracks - for sun soaked racing

 

GOLF there are several golf courses just out from Los Cristianos, Las Americas, Las Galletas etc. All are lovely to walk round and the fees vary - so shop around.

 

CAR HIRE Can be arranged over the net with various operators who can even do pickup and drop off at airport, or hire one from the operators in the town to get out and about for a few days.

SAILING - take a sailing trip from Los Cristianos harbour

FISHING - hire a boat in the harbour

SNORKELLING - from the beaches and reefs along the coast

DIVING - take an organised diving trip

WHALE WATCHING - boats leaving regularly to watch the whales passing the islands. All of these activities can be found by operators in Los Cristianos harbour.
